Waterdeep, also known as the City of Splendors, is a large metropolis south of Neverwinter, and the most important and influential city in the North, and perhaps in all Faerûn. It is part of the Lords' Alliance.
It was featured in the "Hordes of the Underdark" expansion of the first Neverwinter Nights.
