Clerics who take the War domain spend considerable time training for combat.

War domain

This domain grants a cleric the following additions:

Domain power[]

Granted power: Clerics with the war domain receive Weapon Focus in their patron deity's favored weapon.

Spells[]

Level Spell
1
2
3
4 Flame Strike
5
6
7
8 Power Word, Stun
9

Special: War domain clerics are proficient with all martial weapons if their deity's favored weapon is a martial weapon. Similarly, if the deity's favored weapon is an exotic weapon, the cleric will be proficient with all exotic weapons.

Note: if a cleric with War Domain becomes a Doomguide, (s)he switches deities to Kelemvor. His favored weapon is a bastard sword, an exotic weapon, but the game RETAINS the weapon feats the original deity granted at the time of character creation, not granting exotic weapons feat (altough doomguide grants it anyway), and NOT giving you weapon focus for the bastard sword, retaing the one related to the previous god. It is suspected Favored Souls are in a similar boat with their weapon feats granted through progression. Meaning if you want to Doomguide with war domain, probably chose Kelemvor at the start for bastard sword focus.

This domain was added with Mask of the Betrayer expansion.
