high/low[]

I think the high/low version of the table is clearer in meaning than "Y", however I think it detracts from the clarity of the table since it's now a solid block of text.--Defunc7 17:31, 31 December 2005 (PST)

Looks pretty good now. -- Alec Usticke 17:40, 31 December 2005 (PST)

Stacking[]

Does anyone know what savoing throw bonuses stack together? Divine Wrath, Divine Grace, Items, Feats, Divine Champ levs..? Special:Contributions/ 01:13, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

For NWN2 MOTB 1.23:
As far as I know, all saving throws bonuses stack (dex/con/wis modifier and divine grace I know for sure). However, there is a cap of 20 from items. Also, you only get the best of saving throws from one ring, so it isn't effective to wear two ring of resistances +3, for instance. Plan your MOTB final equipment enchantments accordingly. —This unsigned comment is by 76.216.151.73 (wall) 02:43, December 28, 2009‎. Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
From my testing, most feat-based saving throws (Divine Grace, Dark Blessing, Sacred Defense, Luck of Heroes, Iron Will, Durability e.a.) do not count towards the +20 cap. Anything else, including Spellcraft bonuses and feats that give them (like Hardiness vs. X), does. GFallen (talk) 18:18, November 13, 2012 (UTC)

Re. Automatic Failure[]

I was just doing tests pertaining to Immunity, and was using debug that returned

0 = failure

1 = success

2 = immune

and kept rolling until I got a d20 = 1. That should be automatic failure (my PC could make the save no problem, and needs a 1 to fail ...) -- but while the standard message said that it failed, my debug returned 1 = success. Can anyone corroborate that d20 = 1, for a save that would otherwise succeed, actually Fails a Save? KevL's (talk) 05:56, April 9, 2013 (UTC)

In my experience, Will saves don't auto-fail on 1 even if it says *failure*. Not sure about Fort/Reflex. GFallen (talk) 15:11, April 9, 2013 (UTC)
... did some more tests: Reflex succeeds on *failure* just like Will. Fortitude saves work properly. (These tests were done vs. Type_Mind_Spell) I'll add something to the main page KevL's (talk) 15:50, April 9, 2013 (UTC)
