Why is this article so biased against bludgeoning?

Peoples personal opinions, since bludgeoning damage is superior to slashing and piercing damage. Especially in today's world of high tech fabrics, etc that can stop knives, swords, and even bullets. You hit someone with a heavy stick, etc though and they are going to have broken bones (the same was true for all medieval armor, none of it gave adequate protection to blunt force trauma).
