Calculating the AC of a character involves adding up the various sources of AC. Most of these sources do not stack, with the exception of Dodge AC. For more information Armor Class.

The Basics

Start with a Base of 10

  • Armor +0-8 ( Robes to Full Plate )
  • Shield +1-4 ( Small to Tower Shield ); +1 (Light Shield), +2 (Heavy Shield), +4 (Tower Shield)
  • Dexterity can scale up to a max of 20(base) + 7(level) + 6(Feats) + 12(items/buffs) = 45
  • Wisdom Can scale up to a max of 20(base) + 10(Feats from Champion of Torm) + 7(level) + 12(items/buffs) = 49

The Wisdom AC bonus is only available when without armor or sheild as a monk, and it stacks with the dexterity bonus.

( Armor can carry a dex limit, of between a max of 1 to 6 if character is not in a robe )
