Description
A sling has a small cradle or pouch in the middle of two lengths of cord. It is a fairly simple yet effective ranged weapon used to hurl stones.
Note: Slings, like in NWN1, can be used with shields. Slings also add the wielder's Strength modifier to their damage, but, like other ranged weapons, use the wielder's Dexterity modifier for any attack bonuses. Small characters can use slings two-handed, gaining the corresponding increase in the Strength bonus to damage.
