When you use this invocation, you can activate great powers of vision, allowing you to see invisible creatures and objects. You also gain darkvision, allowing you to see normally even when it's dark. Both effects last for a period of 24 hours.

See the Unseen is bugged and does not grant Darkvision; this feat is only available to races that grant Darkvision by default.
One solution: once a character has the See the Unseen Invocation, open the console and manually give the feat:
- select character to receive Darkvision
- press the "~" button, which opens the console, then type and enter these lines:
- debugmode 1
- givefeat 228
- debugmode 0
- press the "~" button to close the console
