A character with this feat negates the -4 penalty for using missile weapons in melee, and gains an additional 1 to attack and damage with ranged weapons when the target is within 15 feet.

Gameplay Notes[]
- Generally, firing into combat, with the attack of opportunity will be cumbersome. This does remove the penalty, although it is still dangerous to attack in melee with a ranged weapon.
- The extra damage is useful for Rogues attacking with sneak attack at range, although the range of sneak attack is up to 30 feet. It is very close to melee range however.
- It is normally required for rapid shot but a Ranger can bypass this by choosing the ranged combat style.
- A fighter may select Point Blank Shot as one of his Bonus feats.

Benefit: You get a 1 bonus on attack and damage rolls with ranged weapons at ranges of up to 30 feet.
