The character with this ability can take the shape of an plant creature. Available shapes include Treant and Shambling mound.
- Use
- Selected.
Gameplay Notes[]
- Unlike regular or Elemental Wild Shape, Plant Shape does not have any duration limit - transformation will last until either rest or forced canceling.
- Both shapes change character's racial type to plant and provide immunity to disease, critical hits, mind-affecting spells, paralysis, poison and fear. Their stats can be seeing below:
Shape | Strength | Dexterity | Constitution | Size Bonus | Bonus AC | Total AC | Weapon1 | Weapon2 | Other traits |
Shambling Mound | 21 | 10 | 17 | -1 | 11 | 20 | 2d6 slashing (bite) | 2d6 slashing (bite) | Immunity to electrical damage |
Treant | 29 | 8 | 21 | 0 | 13 | 22 | 2d6 slashing (bite) | 2d6 slashing (bite) | Vulnerability to fire: 50% |
- The Treant Fire vulnerability can be easily countered by the Energy immunity spell as it's 9999/- damage resistance makes any vulnerability to corresponding damage type a non-issue.
- Unlike regular treants of shambling mounds, shapeshifted druid does not receive damage reduction.
Bug Notes[]
- Those forms are supposed to use "slam" natural weapons but wrongly use bites instead, changing their damage type from intended bludgeoning. Biting treant/shambling mound should surely be an interesting sight.
