"This beast is jet black, save for splotches of red along its coat that resemble spattered blood. In fact, it is not entirely obvious that these splotches are not spattered blood. The beast's pronounced and ultrasharp fangs and gleaming red eyes suggest it might be both."

Notes[]
- Its racial type is "beast". Despite that, it lacks Low-Light Vision.
- This creature, being a creation of an evil savage god, is Chaotic Evil in PnP. Considering regular beast of Malar has proper alignment, paragon's True Neutral may be a bug.
- Paragon Beast's HD look very wrong - and indeed, it seems they (among other stats) were, for some reason, switched between paragon and regular beast of Malar. The creature itself is based on paragon template from PnP but even than, it is not exact adaptation. NWN2 don't have actual template mechanic, so developers tried to imitate one.
