Monk 11 / Fighter 4 / Invisible Blade 5 / Dwarven Defender 10

The Lightning Wall was inspired by the concept of the kaze no kama, high AC with loads of attacks.

He uses exposed weakness combined with bleed damage and elemental damage to hit and deal good damage. The painfull choice of lightning walls is to either drop their defences and go full out (flurry of blows) or stay behind their defence stance.


You don't have to expect any socials skills from the lightning wall, but then again ever tried talking to a wall?


There is no XP penalty whatsoever due to the preferred class of fighter for the dwarf of your choice

(duegar have a -2 level though)


Though he has a tough start once you gain some levels he realy flourishes.


Any enemy with high damage reduction or high AC you can use expose weakness.

Bleeding wound can help if nothing else succeeds since it stacks rather well.

No natural spell resistance unless you edit the build a little bit, see notes.

Lose extra attacks if using Defensive stance

Why these classes/race


Dwarf(any)

  • Prefered Class: Fighter. This allows for zero XP penalties.
  • Dwarf race is required for dwarven defender
  • Monk because of the flurry of blows and wisdom buff
  • Invisible blade due to bleeding wound and unfettered defence
  • Dwarven defender due to improved defence defensive stance and uncanny dodge
