Description[]
Hold Person immobilizes one humanoid for the duration of the spell. The target makes a Will saving throw each round and upon a successful result it is freed of the condition.
Notes[]
- While all Hold spells are considered mind-affecting spells, they do not actually count as such for purposes of saving throws. Thus, they are preferable to other spells when used on targets that have feats which grant them a bonus to saves against mind-affecting spells (for example Hardiness vs. Enchantments).
Bugs[]
- If you accidentally cast this spell on an invalid target (not human), it will still break invisibility, even though the spell does not affect non-human targets.
- Description misses "mind-affecting" descriptor.
