Description[]
In addition to normal eldritch blast damage, the hindering blast forces any creature struck to make a Will save or become slowed. A slowed creature moves and attacks at a drastically reduced rate, taking a -1 penalty on attack rolls, AC, and Reflex saves and moving at half its normal speed. Multiple slow effects don't stack. This invocation counters and dispels haste.

- Outside of higher level, this invocation appears to be identical to Draining Blast. This includes slow lasting for 1 round.
- This invocation was added with Mask of the Betrayer.
Bug Notes[]
- Like other similar spells, this one reducing victim's number of base attacks to 1 instead of by 1.
- This invocation cannot be empowered by Hellfire Blast.
