Players Handbook The information on this page includes speculation of what will be included in NWN2. It derives from Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 rules from the SRD or other sources, but Obsidian may change the actual implementation in the game.

While Obsidian has not confirmed the existence of hide in plain sight in NWN2, it is a class feature of the ranger, assassin and shadowdancer class which have been confirmed.

3.5 Hide in plain sight

A character with this feature can use the hide skill even while being observed.

Ranger restriction

A ranger can only use hide in plain sight while within natural terrain.

Assassin and Shadowdancer restrictions

Assassin and shadowdancer characters can only use hide in plain sight while within 10 feet of some sort of shadow. He cannot, however, hide in his own shadow.
