A number of friendly targets equal to your caster level (centered on the initial target) gain a +1 dodge bonus to AC, a +1 bonus to attack rolls, and 1 extra attack per round (ranged or melee, but not spellcasting). Each target's speed is increased by 50% as well.

Gameplay Notes[]

  • If the subject is wielding two weapons, this extra attack is made with the primary hand only. The extra attack comes after all the normal main-hand attacks, but before the off-hand attacks. Furthermore, this extra attack does NOT apply dual-wielding penalties.
  • This spell may be cast as a level 9 Persistent Spell. Cast in this manner, the entire party can have the benefit of a 24 hour Haste effect.


The spellscript attempts to strip the affected targets of similar effects; this doesn't work well, however, due to bugs in the script. The spell is supposed to remove the following from all affected targets:

Expeditious Retreat - this will be removed only if its creator is the same as the Haste caster.

Blinding Speed - this will be removed only if its creator is the same as the Haste caster.

Haste (any previous uses still in effect) - this will not be removed. If multiple applications of Haste have been applied to target(s) the effects do not stack in terms of gameplay, but behind the scene these effects may accumulate redundantly, so for technical reasons it would be better to remove them from each target before applying this spell anew.
