- This feat works beyond a level 30 cap, thus giving a 30 summoner level character an animal companion of 1 higher level bracket, which equates to a +2 animal level. This gives: +2 HD, +2 natural AC, +1 Str and +1 Dex (which may give additional AC, if Dex finishes on an even number). It also allows the standard animal companions to reach 4 attacks/rd and the Dragons 6 attacks at summoner level 30 (Deinonychus hits 4 attacks/rd at summoner 27 with this feat and at summoner 30 without it).
