Description[]
A mass of clinging vegetation wraps around all creatures in the area of effect. Those affected are immobilized, though still able to fight and cast spells. Victims who succeed a Reflex save still have their movement reduced by half.
Gameplay Notes[]
- Incorporeal creatures are supposed to be immune to this spell, but the script is bugged; instead, the spell will do nothing if the 'caster' is incorporeal.
- The description of this spell is arguably misleading and incomplete. Specifically, creatures that fail their saving throw are only entangled for 2 rounds, not for the entire duration of the spell as its description might make the reader think. Of course, staying in the target area will force the creature to make new saving throws.
- In addition to immobilization entangled creatures also receive penalty -2 to attack and -4 to Dexterity.
