Duskwood is a rare magic wood that is as hard as normal wood but very light. Any wooden or mostly wooden item made from duskwood weighs only 40% (for weapons) to 60% (for shields) as much as a normal wooden item of that type. Items not normally made of wood or only partially of wood cannot be made from duskwood.

For weapons, in addition to 40% weight reduction, bows gain Mighty +6, crossbows gain attack bonus +3, and staves inflict +1 magical damage.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Crafting a weapon or armor out of Duskwood adds 5 to its difficulty class.
  • Weight reduction, Mighty, attack bonus and magical damage all count as separate items properties towards enchantment limits.
  • The Duskwood bow, so named and bought from Galen in Prologue during Harvest Festival, has only +1 bonus attack and no weight reduction. Obviously, this bow is not a not a real Duskwood weapon. It's possible Daeghun was cheated by Galen or, more likely, the developers didn't want the PC having a weapon of this strength this early in the game, since it is possible to keep this bow by skipping the rest of the tutorial after the PC buys it.
