Each Cleric has a spell slot for each spell level above 0th-level for the preparation of 1 of his 2 possible domain spells. This slot is in addition to normal spell progression from class level.
This slot can not be used to prepare spells not granted by his selected domains, nor may it be used for spontaneous casting.
NWN comparison[]
- NWN domains only provided a few spells, not 1 spell at each spell level.
- Domain spells in NWN could be prepared in any available spell slot of the correct level. There was no specific domain spell slot.
