Description[]

A thin, green ray springs from your pointing finger. You must make a successful ranged touch attack to hit. Any creature struck by the ray takes 2d6 points of magic damage per caster level (to a maximum of 40d6). Any creature reduced to 0 or fewer hit points by this spell is entirely disintegrated, leaving behind only a trace of fine dust. A creature that makes a successful Fortitude save is partially affected, taking only 5d6 points of magic damage. If this damage reduces the creature to 0 or fewer hit points, it is entirely disintegrated.

This is the only non-elemental spell that will kill trolls.

Bug Notes[]

  • It is unknown if the line for applying the EffectDisintegrate() actually work, and what their effects fully are! (It is unknown if it removes the object from play, removes possible loot, or does any visual effect - I personally have not seen it in action through my constant use of it).
  • Despite the spell description displaying that this spell becomes available for use in 7th level spells for Clerics with the Destruction Domain, it in fact does not. Only Wizards and Sorcerers appear to be able to make use of the spell.
