Description[]
The target creature is healed for 4 points of damage. Healing spells have a reverse effect on undead, harming instead of healing them. A successful touch attack must first be made when this spell is used against undead.
Gameplay Notes[]
- This spell can be spontaneously cast by good or neutral clerics.
Bug Notes[]
- Line 493: The touch attack is done even if the target cannot be affected (if the reputation check fails). Doing the reputation check before the touch attack means a caster has feedback that it won't work on the designated target. Doing this, you'd have to move the signal event too.
- While this spell does not have the Empower spell flag in the Spells.2DA file and can thus not be cast as an empowered spell, clerics with the Healing domain automatically cast this spell as an Empowered spell. This is happends because the script contains a check for both empower and auto-empowered healing from the domain. However, since the Spells.2DA file does not contain the flag for Empower spell, a caster without this domain cannot cast it in this manner.
- Description should have "Healing" descriptor.
